mainly made up of members of the 9th ID {Day of Defeat realism unit} the 746th Tank Bitallion and the 607th Tank Destroyer Bitallion were origionally assigned to 9th Infantry Division, 39th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Battalion, Able Company.
The 9th Infantry Division is a realism Clan that operates on Day of Defeat: Source (DoD:S), an online FPS (First-Person Shooter) game. Having been in operation for four years, we have a lot of experience and are one of the oldest realism units on DoD:S. The 9th ID strives to be as realistic as possible in the way we operate as a whole, from the Chain of Command to the use of World War II ranks and their responsibilities. We do not identify ourselves as a clan, but as a realism unit. We are accepting all levels of tankers and are a very informal group.
